Registered as Mandefitra Africa Limited but trading as SHAMBAFASTA;
Shambafasta is an agritech and mechanization youth led Tanzanian company,
established in 2020, focused on transforming the agricultural landscape by
providing agricultural machinery rental services to support smallholder farmers with affordable, efficient, timely and wide range of mechanization services.

Headquartered in Dar es Salaam, with the largest reach to upcountry regions in Tanzania mainland and Zanzibar, the the company vision is to mechanize every farming activity from land preparation to post-harvesting until the final consumer enjoys the food on the table. With an enduring spirit and patriotic heart, the passion from its beginning as a youth startup; Shambafasta has an eye to create youth employment and increase productivity and income to smallholder farmers.

SHAMBAFASTA operates with a clear vision to be the “Uber of the farmer,”
ensuring that every farmer, regardless of their size, can access modern agricultural machinery on-demand, providing faster, cost-effective, and productive farming solutions. With a strong commitment to youth empowerment,
the company runs agricultural mechanization centers operated by young entrepreneurs and connects farmers to financial institutions for easy access to
loans when they need it most.
